Making Your Visit Easier

At Western Sydney Stadium, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment that prioritises the accessibility, safety, security, and comfort of all visitors.

The Stadium boasts a range of accessibility features, including 360-degree access, expansive open concourses, and thoughtfully designed accessible facilities.

Our friendly volunteers and venue staff are always ready to lend a helping hand whenever needed on event days to ensure an enjoyable experience for all.

Western Sydney Stadium supports and recognises the Hidden Disability Sunflower

The Sunflower is a globally recognised symbol for Hidden Disabilities. The lanyard is a way that people with Hidden Disabilities can indicate to staff that they may need extra support, time, and understanding.

Accessible Entrances

  • All gates at Western Sydney Stadium provide accessible entry. 
  • Lift access is available at Gate A.

Accessible Seating

The Stadium provides accessible seating for Persons Requiring Universal Access (PRUA) for all events held at Western Sydney Stadium.

Ticket Box Offices

All Box Offices at Western Sydney Stadium (Located at Gate A and Gate B) are accessible for all patrons.

Lift Access

  • Lift access to all upper floors in the Western Stand (Levels 2 to 4) is available internally at Gate F.
  • Lift access is available for patrons ticketed to Gate A who may require assistance with the stairs up to the Level 1 concourse entry.

Sensory Room

Need a quiet space to retreat and recharge at one of our live events? We’ve got you covered.

The sensory room was built with all patrons in mind but designed with a particular focus on supporting our neurodiverse customers.  

Sensory bags are available to borrow from the sensory room during your visit, and each bag contains items such as fidget toys and noise-cancelling headphones to help create a calming and comfortable experience.

The room is located on Level 1, near stands 101 and 102, but you can ask any of our friendly customer service staff during an event and they will guide you to the space. 

Accessible Communication: Auslan & Subtitles

  • Auslan interpretation is available at most matches to support Deaf and hard of hearing patrons.
  • Please note that Auslan interpretation will not be available for Match 4 (CHN v BAN) on 3 March at 7:00pm or Match 10 (UZB v CHN) on 6 March at 7:00pm.
  • Live captions/subtitles are also provided on stadium screens for key announcements and selected content.

Public Transport

Western Sydney Stadium is well serviced by Public Transport Services

  • Patrons are encouraged to utilise the enhanced public transport services into Parramatta when attending events at the Stadium.
  • Trains – Sydney Train services are fully accessible and run regularly into Parramatta Station.
  • Buses – All public bus services into Parramatta are fully accessible. This includes buses operating from Parramatta interchange (Parramatta Station) to Western Sydney Stadium.
  • Parramatta Light Rail - all light rail services are fully accessible.

Free public transport is included to and from Stadium Australia for all ticketed patrons on match days. Simply present your valid match ticket to access public transport services on the day of the match.

Accessible Car Parking

  • A limited number of mobility/accessible carparking spaces are available in the Stadium’s northern carpark on event days.
  • Registrations for mobility parking open online ten days prior to each event.
  • Requesting parties need to provide their mobility parking scheme permit number for validation purposes.
  • All bookings are subject to availability.

Accessible Drop Off

  • A drop-off / pick-up zone for people with mobility / accessible needs is provided adjacent to the Stadium entry along the Gate 1 service road as indicated.  
  • It should be noted that for selected events, O’Connell Street may be closed post event for up to 30 minutes.  Access to the Gate 1 service road will not be possible over this period until O’Connell Street re-opens to traffic.

Toilets & Change Place

There are accessible bathrooms located throughout Western Sydney Stadium.

Their locations are indicated with appropriate signage throughout the Stadium.

Changing Place

A Changing Place is located adjacent to Gate C and can be accessed from the Level 1 concourse and also external to the Stadium

Accessibility Assistance

For select events, Western Sydney Stadium's Accessibility Squad is available to support guests with mobility needs from venue entry to their seats or designated areas.
